A LOOK AT HOW THOSE WHO OPPOSED MEDICAL MARIJUANA VIEW THE ISSUE

Passing usage of marijuana for medicinal purposes has happened, and those who opposed State Question 788 are looking for ways to live with the new law. Perhaps one of the overlooked reasons for having opposed the measure has more to do with confusion than with actual use of marijuana. For some, the thought of legalizing marijuana conjures up ideas of consequences that have not been considered. And to get a grasp on some of these things, we need only to look at other states where marijuana has been legalized. In Colorado, for example, the number of deadly car crashes increased once marijuana was made legal. And, there is also the likelihood of becoming an addict or misusing marijuana. With these concerns being voiced, the State will be looking to properly enforce the law, which could be confusing for some.
