Attorney Thomas W. Hosty focuses his Oklahoma City practice on defending people charged with crimes, with an emphasis on DUI and traffic violations. Mr. Hosty has been recognized at both the state and federal level for his commitment to ensuring proper arrest procedures are followed and has even taught courses on the requirements of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFST). Mr. Hosty underwent training to become certified as a State of Oklahoma Intoxilyzer Operator for the I-5000 and I-8000. This training and certification is unique, and gives Mr. Hosty the edge you need when defending a charge of DUI.
Mr. Hosty has been recognized by US News & World Report as one of the best lawyers in America for the years 2009-2011and was featured on the A&E channel’s Investigative Reports program in 2001. Mr. Hosty is active in local bar associations and has served as a Fellow for the OBA-OBF in 2000 and a Benefactor Fellow in 2011. Thomas also enjoys a high rating from the Martindale Hubbell legal publication, and is a 2009-2011 Super Lawyer.
Mr. Hosty received his undergraduate degree from The University of Central Oklahoma in 1989 and his law degree from Loyola University in New Orleans in 1992. In addition, Thomas is a 2011 graduate of the American Chemical Society Gas Chromatography Axion Lab. Mr. Hosty is active in his community, spending time at Church with his family and friends and supporting local community events and sports.
