BIG PHARMA IN BIG TROUBLE?

The eyes of the nation are on Oklahoma as the State’s case against Johnson & Johnson continues in Cleveland County. The case is the first one of its kind in the country and is poised to set a major legal precedent regarding the opioid crisis. The State claims certain drug makers engaged in deceptive marketing tactics, helping to add to or cause addiction. Some of the defendants have already reached settlement agreements, but the case against Johnson & Johnson is being heard by a Judge in Norman. The outcome will be more than interesting and the effect the ruling might have on other defense issues is still unknown.
