ILLEGAL CELL PHONES FOUND IN JAILS

Prison administrators and staff have a lot to deal with on a daily basis, with already overcrowded prisons and the issues that come up from not having enough space for all the inmates. Another issue that comes up a lot is the smuggling of a cell phone into the jails. Gangs, from within the jail walls, are able to use phones to conduct business outside and this causes an uptick in the number of crimes being committed. Many acts of violence inside jails are also due to illegal cell phones, making it hard for inmates to take advantage of early release programs. If you are visiting a loved one in jail, keep in mind what you take in and out has to be legal or else you may end up in trouble too.
