IT IS TIME TO SORT OUT THE INS AND OUTS OF MEDICAL MARIJUANA

Voters in Oklahoma cast their ballots a few weeks ago, legalizing marijuana for medicinal purposes. But what this will look like has yet to take shape. Many questions still exist, like what is required to get a license, whether use will be allowed on tribal land, and how gun ownership will be impacted. Perhaps one of the biggest concerns is how to deal with medical marijuana in public places, where smoking is not allowed or how an employer can continue to offer a drug free workplace. Just how the issues play out remains to be seen, but one thing is certain, it is going to take a coming together at the State Department of Health to come up with regulations that make sense.
