LOCAL STREET FESTIVAL TO RETURN, WITH A FEW CHANGES TO THE SCHEDULE

With spring starting to make an appearance most of us turn our thoughts to activities that take place outdoors. Now is the time to get out and enjoy the weather, take the kids to the park or the zoo, or sit out on a patio with friends while enjoying a good meal. Another fun activity that will make its return on St. Patrick’s Day is the Edmond street festival known as Heard on Hurd. The event has historically taken place monthly beginning this time of year, but with construction slated to begin soon in Edmond, corporate sponsor Citizen’s Bank has said the event will be announced as it occurs. Despite this change, event goers can still expect the same fun and food they’ve come to expect from Heard on Hurd. If you happen to be in town this St. Patrick’s Day, come on out to one of Edmond’s most popular street festivals and enjoy the beginning of a new season!
