MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY FOR VETERANS TO OPEN

The military and first responders often see things the rest of us don’t, and overcoming the trauma associated with the job is difficult. Awareness for PTSD is on the rise, but more can be done to get our country’s heroes the help they need when they suffer mentally. A local facility has recognized this need and is opening a new wing designated specifically for veterans, first responders, and active duty military members. The “Hope for Heroes” program is designed to help those with PTSD or other trauma related to their service, and is being offered at the Oakwood Springs facility in Oklahoma City.
