PAROLE BOARD SET TO CHANGE

Prison overcrowding is a real problem in Oklahoma, prompting the need for reform of our criminal justice system. And, the Governor has now taken action which he hopes will help the issue. Three new appointments have been made to the State’s Pardon and Parole Board. Governor Stitt hopes these new board members will bring a fresh set of eyes and new perspective to the Parole Board. Stitt has also said he hopes to see more inmates make application to the Board, as a way to help unclog the crowded jails and prisons across the State.
