TAKE A RIDE ON THE OKC STREETCAR
The OKC Streetcar has been up and running for about 3 weeks now and rides are free through February 1, 2019. The free rides were originally scheduled to end January 5 but officials extended this perk and if you haven’t take a ride on the streetcar yet, get out as soon as you can and give it a try. The streetcars make several stops in downtown OKC, making it easy to get from Automobile Alley to Midtown, and even down to Bricktown. This is a great way to save on parking and it allows you to explore your city with fresh eyes. Many businesses are participating in weekly drawings for gift cards and there is an excitement in the downtown air like never before! But be careful, and remember to be on the lookout for the streetcars. Drivers still have to obey traffic laws and yield to streetcars when necessary. Accidents do still happen, and if you are in one or are given a ticket in an incident involving a streetcar let us help!
