TRUST SET UP FOR OKLAHOMA COUNTY JAIL

The Oklahoma County jail has seen its fair share of problems, from breakouts to an aging building the facility always seems to be at the center of some news story or another. While the legislature was hard at work looking at ways to ease overcrowding by overhauling the criminal justice laws, other important work has been done to change the way the OK County jail is run. A trust has been created to oversee operations and finances for the jail. The move was controversial and all that is left is to sit back and watch to see what develops.
