WHAT CAN A DRONE BE USED FOR?

A drone is an unmanned aerial craft, controlled by software that basically acts as a flying robot. Drones can take images and send them back to the end user, and come in handy in a lot of different ways. The Department of Public Safety uses drones to reconstruct accidents, the Bureau of narcotics uses them to search for illegal substances, the Water Resources Board uses drones to inspect the infrastructure of certain projects, and the Department of Transportation uses drones to record progress on their projects. Some private own drones, on a much smaller scale, and you may see friends posting photos of the top of their house or an open field taken by their drones. Given the capabilities of drones it is not a stretch to say the images captured might one day be used in a legal proceeding, which will open the door to a host of legal questions.
