WHAT OKLAHOMA SCHOOLS ARE DOING TO KEEP YOUR KIDS SAFE

With the Parkland, FL school massacre still fresh in our minds, administrators here at home are hard at work to keep your kids safe while at school. For example, in Edmond, school superintendent Bret Towne distributed a letter to parents outlining the district’s policies on safety and intruder protocol. The letter set forth the policies currently in place and urged parents to take an active part in their children’s safety. Most importantly, parents and kids alike were asked to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity and stay alert and aware of their surroundings.
