President Trump has proposed tariffs on steel and aluminum and at first glance this may not seem like it will have an impact on your daily life. But opinions are varied, with some retail and other associations saying small manufactures and stores may see changes if these tariffs are implemented. One place a casual consumer may feel a hit is at a retail establishment, who may have to raise prices to account for an increased cost of goods. This idea has stores and shops worried, as they are always looking at the bottom sales line dollar. On the plus side, the hope is the move will generate more steel and aluminum jobs here at home instead of having those positions outsourced overseas.
