AN UPDATE ON OKLAHOMA’S OPIOID FIGHT

News about the opioid crisis is almost daily, with statistic showing close to 200 people across the country die every day from an overdose. Oklahoma ranks among the highest for states with a large opioid problem, and those that are able to do so are starting to find ways to help fight this growing difficult situation. The key to overcoming an addition starts with admitting there is a problem, and then getting help. Most of the time it is best to seek one on one help, but new reports show participation in a group setting is invaluable. On top of that, parents and other family members can join support groups to learn how to spot the signs of abuse, and help their loved ones find the help they need before it is too late. Parents Helping Parents and The Partnership for Drug Free Kids are two great resources for these needs, and our office can help you with any legal questions you might have about a drug related case or pending charges.
