OPIOID PRESCRIPTION RATES ARE DOWN

Oklahoma has long ranked among the highest in the country for opioid use, but that number is dropping. At least for prescription use. The most widespread use of opioids is by patients using the prescription to alleviate chronic pain. It will be interesting to see if the numbers continue to drop as patients begin to turn to use of medical marijuana in place of an opioid.
