THE ROLE OF A GRANDPARENT IN A TEEN’S LIFE
In some instances grandparents play a vital role in a kid’s life, in fact many grandparents are now stepping in and playing the role of parent when needed. The age difference between a grandparent and grandchild can be a lot, but as the kids get older and reach their teen years it is important for grandparents to stay relevant. This means asking more questions, but letting the teen provide the answer. A child who feels engaged in conversation is less likely to skip school or fall in with the “wrong crowd”. And when kids stay on track after becoming a teen, they are more likely to be productive adults with a lower risk of facing criminal charges. But if your teen does get into trouble with the law, we are here to help. We know how serious the consequences can be from having a record at a young age and work hard to get results that don’t follow you around for life, and can also seek an expungement of things on your record. Whether you have a traffic violation, speeding ticket, DUI, or other criminal charge – we know what to do!
