DANGERS OF SYNTHETIC MARIJUANA

The DEA has given synthetic marijuana a Schedule II classification, meaning certain pharmaceutical companies are now allowed to sell this drug to the public. However, studies show this form of marijuana is not as safe as real marijuana, and the side effects include various illnesses and even reports of users engaging in “zombie-like” behavior. While Oklahoma waits for a vote on legalization of marijuana for medicinal purposes, we need to all remember the potential hazards of the substance not only physically, but also legally.
