Now that State Question 792 has been passed and grocery and convenience stores are selling alcohol, have you found yourself stopping at the liquor store less? Even with a conservative reputation, Oklahomans overwhelmingly passed the initiate that placed wine and other sprits in grocery stores, and the driving force may have been convenience. It is must faster to run to the grocery store and pick up items for dinner, including alcohol if that is your plan, than it is to go to the grocery store and to the liquor store. The change was a long time coming and it may take a while to fully settle in across the State, but many consumers are already taking advantage of the new law and making a one shop stop.
