LEGAL TIP OF THE WEEK: LEFT LANE LIMIT LAW IS COMING SOON, HOW TO BE PREPARED

When the new left lane law takes effect in November, you will need to be prepared or risk a ticket. The law does not allow for driving in the left hand lane unless you are passing a vehicle, or moving over for a car on the right. This is a difficult thing to determine, because what one person views as allowing a vehicle to enter the roadway or what might be considered moving over for an emergency or stopped vehicle, is personal. So it will be very important to take extra care to only use the left lane as allowed, and not spend too much time there when you do need to pass or move over for another car. And if you do happen to get a ticket, it will be important to aggressively defend that ticket in order to establish a set of acceptable left lane driving habits. We can help!
