LEGAL TIP OF THE WEEK:WHAT THE GOVERNMENT WANTS TO DO TO KEEP YOU SAFE WHEN YOU FLY: NEWS TO KNOW NOW!

Since taking office, President Donald Trump has tried to make a lot of changes. One of the most notable efforts is in the area of healthcare, and we are all still waiting to see if the issue will be revisited at a later date. Most everyone is also keeping track of Trump’s actions on immigration, and the most recent efforts to decrease the level of not only illegal, but legal immigration into the United States. Along these lines the current administration is also considering changes to the way people are able to board planes for international travel. Currently, a fingerprint can be required for a non-immigrant to enter the country, but the Trump administration wants to take that a step further and require a face scan. This may raise some privacy concerns, but the Department of Homeland Security has given assurances that the scans would not be kept in a permanent file. How do you feel about this idea? Does it make you feel safer, or do you feel it is an invasion of privacy?
