WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR PRELIMINARY HEARING

A preliminary hearing is where the state has to let the Court know if there is enough evidence for the charges made. The standard is pretty low, and in most cases the Court finds there is sufficient evidence to proceed with the case. A defendant does not have to testify at this hearing, but should show up with their attorney prepared to listen to what the prosecution has to say. When you let us handle your case for you we go over the charges so you understand what is being said, and help prepare you to show up to Court without being nervous. Mr. Hosty has been practicing criminal defense law for over 20 years and has the experience you need to feel at ease in Court, and a track record that shows he gets results.
